Volunteer & Team Builders FAQs

How do I volunteer?

We would love to build with you! At The PowerHouse ATL Church, volunteering is more than filling a position. It's about using your God-given gifts to serve others and help establish a culture rooted in the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.
We invite everyone interested in serving to join our Tuesday Team Builders Training & Meeting at 7:00 PM ET. This is an opportunity to connect, grow, understand our mission, and receive the support and training needed to serve with purpose.
Ready to get connected? Complete our Connect Card and let us know you're interested in volunteering!

How do I volunteer with kids?

We love children and believe that creating a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment for them is essential.
At this time, we are not actively accepting children's ministry volunteers as we work toward establishing the appropriate policies, procedures, documentation, and safety measures to properly care for children and families.
Our goal is to begin developing this ministry in early 2027. We welcome you to express your interest now through our Connect Card so we can stay connected as opportunities become available.

What volunteer opportunities are available?

There's room for many different gifts at The PowerHouse ATL Church! As a growing church, we're looking for passionate individuals who want to help build, serve, and reach our community.
Some areas where you can make an impact include:

Evangelism & Community Outreach: Sharing the Gospel, praying with people, and connecting with the Buckhead community.
Marketing & Church Awareness: Helping spread the word through social media, flyers, community partnerships, and creative outreach.
Administrative Support & Organization: Assisting with communications, planning, scheduling, coordination, and church operations.
Hospitality & Guest Experience: Welcoming guests, creating a warm atmosphere, and helping people feel connected.
Prayer & Intercession: Standing in prayer for our church, families, community, and the mission God has entrusted to us.
Worship & Music: Sharing musical gifts and supporting the worship experience.
Media, Technology & Production: Supporting sound, photography, video, livestreaming, presentations, and digital communications.
Sunday Service Setup & Operations: Helping prepare our worship space, organize supplies, and ensure services run smoothly.
Events & Special Projects: Supporting community gatherings, outreach initiatives, and special church events.

Don't see your gift listed? That's okay! We'd still love to connect. Building a church takes many different gifts, talents, experiences, and willing hearts.

How do I volunteer with music?

Do you sing, play an instrument, lead worship, or have experience supporting music ministry? We'd love to hear from you!
We're open to connecting with individuals who have a heart for worship and a desire to use their musical gifts to glorify God.
Complete our Connect Card and tell us about your gifts, experience, and how you'd like to serve.

Do I need previous ministry experience to volunteer?

Not at all! Whether you've served in ministry for years or are just discovering where your gifts fit, we welcome the opportunity to grow together.
Our Tuesday Team Builders Training is designed to help us build relationships, develop a shared understanding of our culture, and equip one another to serve effectively.
